We’ve been in business since 1999 and selling in the USA since 2005. Our Durasein brand was launched in 2016, and rebranded in 2019. We’re currently one of the fastest growing solid surface brands in the industry.

And on top of all the features and benefits we’ve already mentioned, our 100% acrylic solid surface material is incredibly pliable, durable and renewable. That means you can shape it into almost anything, it can stand up to whatever you dish out and it can be resurfaced to like-new condition with just a little bit of elbow grease.

Our extraordinary material is made up of two-thirds alumina trihydrate (derived from bauxite, a natural ore) and one-third high performance 100% acrylic resin and pigments. Due to this high mineral content, our material is incredibly dense and “stone-like”, yet able to be fabricated with standard woodworking tools. And it’s totally thermoformable.

Scratches. Impact. Heat. Fire. Our solid surface can weather it all, and we’ve undergone the strict stain and chemical resistance testing (CSA B45.5-17/IAPMO Z124-2017) to prove it. Did we mention, our material is renewable, repairable, recyclable, and reusable, too?

We don’t want any part of the nasty stuff, and we know you don’t, either! That’s why our material is bacterial resistant and resistant to mold and mildew, along with being food safe, non-toxic, non-porous, and low VOC.

Durasein is a premium, 100% acrylic solid surface material, putting it in the top tier of all solid surface products. We’re very proud of our performance specs. Durasein has been tested to meet and/or exceed the requirements for industry standards including ASTM, ANSI, UL and NEMA. It’s also undergone strict stain and chemical resistance testing in accordance with CSA B45.5-17/IAPMO Z124-2017. And it’s NSF-51, Greenguard, Greenguard Gold, HPD and REACH certified. Not to mention our in-house D.Lab team who are ready to create custom materials & designs to meet your wildest ideas.
